How to update MailBeez to support PHP8.1
Before switching your server to PHP8.1 please make sure your Shopsoftware and all addons are compatible with PHP8.1. Then make sure you follow these 3 steps:
1. Core and Pro update
Make sure you have updated the MailBeez core system before you run the Pro-update. You will get hints for both updates within the MailBeez system.
2. Did you downgrade?
If you have downgraded from a higher plan you need to manually remove the outdated module files. After performing the update please use your FTP client and check the files within the MailBeez installation directory - and delete those with an outdated timestamp. Any MailBeez Pro user with active subscription can get free help through the MailBeez support.
3. Community Modules
if you are using the free Community Modules you need update the files on your server.
With having followed these 3 steps switching to PHP8.1 should be a possible without any issues - as long as every other component of your shopsystem is compatible with PHP8.1.
