A simple, yet highly useful filter that allows you to configure the hourly rate and total number of emails that MailBeez sends out.

Once you start firing off a lot of emails, it’s a good idea to consider working with email throttling. Whether your store runs on a limited data plan involving hourly email restrictions, or you simply want to make sure that your site is still responsive to visitors even whilst the server fires off emails behind the scenes, email throttling is key, and the Mailbeez Simple Throttling module is the tool to use to achieve it.

The Simple Throttling module provides two key settings that provide all the control you need:

• A limit on the total amount of emails sent
• An hourly email limit

Once either of these limits are hit, Simple Throttling waits for the next cron job cycle before sending out the remaining emails.

Like all Mailbeez modules, installation is a simple one step ‘drop-in’ process, after which the module will be ready to configure in the Mailbeez area within your store admin.
